Episode 8: Hip Hop and Falafel

In episode 8, Rosie and Jessica get you caught up on how they spent the Jubilee weekend, Rosie spills the beans on a date she went on (with herself), we are treated to an extended discussion about sandwich fillings and introduced to the heady world of Hip Hop Line-dancing. Plus regular feature Needle and Fed and the return of Sit Down and Shut the Folk Up.

You can listen to it on Mixcloud, on iTunes or online here:

This week’s songs:
Jessica went for ‘Get Rid of That Girl‘ by The Donnas, while Rosie picked ‘Ooh La La‘ by The Faces, from ‘Rushmore‘.

Sit Down and Shut the Folk Up returns with ‘The Devil in Me’ by the Albion Band from the album ‘Albion Heart‘.

Rosie went to see the Zoffany exhibition at the Royal Academy – it’s now closed, but the Summer Exhibition is now on.

As trailed last week, Rosie went to see ‘Moonrise Kingdom‘ and would like to reiterate that she doesn’t want Woody Allen to die.

The books Jessica has read are ‘Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe‘ by Jenny Colgan (not your average chick lit) and ‘Going Out‘ by Scarlett Thomas (not about body swapping.) Rosie is still reading ‘The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy’ by Laurence Stern.

Rosie’s still knitting her Dolman Sleeve Jumper – you can read her project notes at Ravelry.

Please bring hip hop line dancing into your lives.
