Episode 4: Sheds and Yetis

In episode 4, Rosie and Jessica detail the epic undertaking that was sorting out the Guide shed, plus visits to vintage fairs and, you’ve guessed it, the BFI. Taking on the Top 5s this week is the world of television – who will reign triumphant, and who will just be an honourable mention? Needle and Fed brings us some Ravelry raiding and cupcakes only suitable for a ‘puppy shower’.

This week’s songs:
Jessica plumped for ‘That Thing You Do!‘ from the film, ahem, ‘That Thing You Do!‘, by fictional one-hit-wonders…The Oneders/Wonders!
Rosie had been out running so selected some upbeat exercise music in Lady Gaga feat. BeyoncĂ©’s ‘Telephone‘. That’s the full length video, which isn’t so exercise friendly, but is an exercise in audacity…

Here are the music videos Rosie mentions seeing at BUG at the BFI:
Jake Gyllenhaal murders some hipsters in Dalston [very violent – proceed with caution!] in The Shoes – Time to Dance
Puppet woodland creatures suffer bereavement [very sad – proceed with caution!] in Keaton Henson – Small Hands

Jon Hamm and a small blue Yeti take a ride in Herman Dune’s Tell Me Something I Don’t Know

Ravelry Patterns:
Jumper (Bluebirds) by Patons UK
St. James by Tonya Wagner
Owls by Kate Davies
The Beekeeper’s Quilt by tiny owl knits
