In episode 94, Rosie and Jessica report back from one of their Literal Days of Fun, a trip to the seaside at Margate. There is an unusual use of yoghurt in a lift. Plus, Snack of the Day brings up some quality (not quality) television chat. The Late Review returns with a discussion of the film In A World and your hosts are menaced by penguins.
In episode 83, Rosie and Jessica have brought packed lunches and activities for some literal days of fun. Rosie’s been to some all-day comedy and Jessica’s tidied her kitchen. All good fun. They see the good in people with their Top 5 Friendly Monsters and discuss their dream Bake Off All Stars line-ups.
In episode 64, Rosie and Jessica are a bit distracted by their upcoming trip, so it’s a slightly shorter episode than usual. They still find room for Bake Off Chat, a bit of Strictly, some songs, new features Pants Chat and Current Affairs, plus the ongoing Sleepy Watch Debate rears its ugly head again.
In episode 62, Rosie and Jessica have been out and about, meeting their listeners in wool shops. It was Rosie’s turn to go on an adventure she can’t talk about and they both get stuck into their Top 5 Summer Camping and Scouting-related films. The annual Bake Off Chat feature returns and Rosie manages to talk about Crank yet again. What’s that? Only the sound of the Keegan Klaxon.
In episode 50, Rosie and Jessica have both had platonic Valentine’s weekends, inspiring a rundown of their Top 5 rom-coms. There are some truly terrible Hollywood impressions, a fight and a pudding, and the new novel Maribou in the Mixing Bowl. Thanks for tuning in for fifty episodes and here’s to the next fifty!
